Following her previous positions as Executive Director of Technology and Operations in a range of sectors. Dax is currently CIO, Global Operations, HSBC with an exciting worldwide remit in an established financial services organization. Prior to joining HSBC Dax was the Director for Operations at Macmillan, accountable for the management of the function and key technology deployments within the core infrastructure.   

Recognized for her skills in operating and digitizing functions and businesses, Dax has worked in a number of senior operational, technology and commercial positions within a variety of sectors and with financial services ranging from Fintech focused companies to established global banks. Having undertaken a number of customer facing positions, Dax led the Barclaycard Business Strategy function and subsequently led the operational digitisation at Barclaycard, bringing together the Issuing, Acquiring and International Acquiring Businesses.   

In the early years, Dax worked as Head of Personal Finance for Santander. Working as Director of Technology and Business Operations for Europe at Visa, Dax held accountability for bringing together operational and technology areas of the Visa Inc. acquisition. Dax graduated with a Bachelors of Economics from Cambridge University, continuing her professional accreditation as an Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance together with complimented with Executive Education completed at Cranfield and Harvard Business School. Passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion Dax adopts an open inclusive approach to enabling potential in people and driving societally impactful results.

Raj Suri
Global Head of Applied AI

Dr. Raj Suri is Global Head of Applied AI at HP Inc. where he leads a global organization applying AI to enterprise-scale transformation. His work focuses on translating advanced AI into practical, responsible solutions that improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and deliver measurable impact. 

Dr. Suri also leads AI literacy and upskilling initiatives for HP’s 55,000 employees worldwide and collaborates closely with the HP Foundation to assist with their mission of furthering digital inclusion. 

With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Suri has led technology organizations across financial services, defense, and consumer electronics. Before HP, he was Head of Card AI Strategy & Systems at Capital One, where he helped transform the credit card business and expand access to credit through data and machine learning. Earlier, he led U.S. Army research on landmine and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detection and directed product innovation at Bose. 

Dr. Suri serves on boards and advises nonprofit organizations including Child Care Aware of America, USA for UNHCR, and CARE. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a master’s degree in Product Design from the University of Michigan, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Literature from MIT.
